The Art of Ideas is back by popular demand! $25, $20 for Shaw Friends Experts and artists discuss the overarching themes and big ideas of our season. Learn something new, challenge your perspectives, and explore ideas with special guests such as Dr. David Moscrop (political scientist, columnist, podcaster, and author of Too Dumb for Democracy? Why We Make Bad Political Decisions and How We Can Make Better Ones), Jaime Watt (Executive Chairman of crisis management and public relations firm Navigator Ltd. and Shaw Board Member), and Tim Johnson (Executive Producer of the award-winning documentary RUMBLE: The Indians Who Rocked The World, Senior Advisor to the Niagara Parks Commission, and Shaw Festival Board Member).

It’s never to0 early to foster a love of theatre! Here at The Shaw, we know that the next generation of theatre-lovers will be paving the way soon enough. We have plenty of programming tailored to young thespians. Prince Caspian Needs You! One hour before all performances of Prince Caspian, travel to the forests of Narnia and participate in an activity that plays an important part in the show! An immersive opportunity for aspiring young actors to work with Shaw professionals and engage in meaningful mentorship, training, and performance.
